The president of Bauer Court Reporting, Inc., Lisa Ann Bauer, has over 41 years of freelance court reporting experience in virtually all areas of civil litigation, workers’ compensation, and labor arbitration.

Ms. Bauer maintains professional membership in the National Court Reporters Association and holds the Registered Professional Reporter and Certified Realtime Reporter certifications. Each of these certifications requires a written and skills examination, as well as participation in a continuing education program. Ms. Bauer has also received the Certified Manager of Reporting Services certification through NCRA and participates in NCRA’s Ethics First program.

Lisa is a Past President of the Pennsylvania Court Reporters Association, having also served as a PCRA District Director for the Pittsburgh area and the Secretary-Treasurer, President-Elect, and President. She has been involved with the court reporting program at the Community College of Allegheny County as a speaker and student mentor.

In addition to participation in professional organizations, Ms. Bauer works as a certified software trainer for Advantage Software, Inc. (Eclipse). Lisa has traveled throughout the tri-state area to train official and freelance court reporters, CART providers, and captioners in the use of Eclipse software and has presented seminars on both a state and national level.

On a personal level, Lisa enjoys spending time with husband Jim and Dalmatian Kylie and riding her horse Ciablo!  She also participates in a number of volunteer activities, including riding with the Butler County Sheriff Mounted Posse.
